• Construction manager responsible for the I-395 Design Build Finance pursuit including: teaming agreements, contract and subcontract negotiations, Joint Venture coordination, Alternative Technical Concept (ATC) development, public stakeholder meetings and presentations. • Assisted with other Design Build Pursuits with FDOT, MDX and City of Miami.

• Organized strategic plans for the pursuit of selected projects. Supervise operations, engage in bidding process, and interface with clients, industry and future projects.• Reviewed, assessed, and initiated action along with EVP to maintain project completion schedule, track budget, and contract changes, as well as confirm and monitor the safety program in place. • Design Build & P-3 Pursuits; Responsible for the development and production of qualifications, request for proposals and presentation of technical proposals. Work with Designers to develop ATC’s and overall design refinements.

• Responsible for the start up; from the ground up and the continued management of Conalvias’s North American division. Hired, trained and mentored local staff for operations, administration and estimating/bidding. • Serve as the Licensed General Contractor qualifying the company in the State of Florida and for the Florida Department of Transportation, South Florida Water Management and several other counties and city agencies throughout the state. Responsible for business development and Joint Ventures.• Successfully bid over $800MM within the first three years of operation, winning 6 projects with a combined value over $90MM. First three projects completed with a combined CPPR of 99.7.

As the Director of Marina & Resort Construction the resposabilities included preparing; preliminary designs, cost analysis, feasibility studies and bid packages for projects either under consideration, in due diligence or for the firms existing facilities around the world. Countries such as North, South, Central America, Mexico, the Caribbean, Europe and the Middle East.

Managing Director of the Caribbean Region from Puerto Rico to Trinidad with responsability to develope the contruction operations in the regions, including 3 separate firms; one in the Dutch islands, one in the US Virgin Islands and one in the West Indies.

Developed the Cement Import business on the Island of Puerto Rico. Developed the market strategy that allowed our growth to reach 40% of the total cement consumption on the island with one year. Also provided the construction management for the design, permitting and construction (including startup) of a 40K ton flat storage for bulk cement and a 2,400 bag/hr rotopacker and palletizer for comercial sales.

Managed all aspects of Ready Mix and Aggregate Production operations with an annual production of 1.5 million cubic yards of concrete.
