In 2012, I built a research website on social & economic development (The Poverties Magazine). Within 2 years, it reached 100,000 visitors monthly by implementing unique SEO techniques.Fast forward to 2019, I had poured my soul into an EU project on informal settlements. It was meaningful. We were documenting the work of housing activists & NGOs across different countries.Within 12 months, we had smashed our 3 year target.I then moved into freelance and contract work, which is when I started working with other freelancers on bigger projects.Finding the best ones out there was difficult and time-consuming. I decided to bring the "chosen ones" together and relaunch as a creative studio to tackle big, impactful projects.Working with UN agencies helped us realise how dire the state of the environment is. I started to get severe climate anxiety. Nothing felt impactful enough. And that’s when it hit me. Advocacy. Campaigning. Activism. Top-down government change is the way. That’s how every single society has ever done it. And we had already worked on a handful of projects like that! So our new service is all about creating impactful advocacy campaigns to create real systemic change.
