As Academic Director I direct and shape the curriculum, teaching processes, budgets, and standards for the teaching department and I'm directly responsible for 5 teaching coordinators and a team of 56 foreign teachers in China and 22 abroad. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Teaching quality and curriculum: Enhancing the quality of education offered in the school to ensure content is current and relevant and meets learning needs. Together with teachers, I’m involved in developing new academic programs, bring innovation to the curriculum, developing teaching materials and methods of delivery. Education technology:I oversee the integration of learning technologies into teaching such as the use of Seewo whiteboard in classes and LMS such as Schoology to enhance students’ learning and improve student outcomes. In coordination with teachers develop instructional learning videos for flipped class activities and educational content for social media channels. Business development and cooperation:In coordination with the school's board of directors and international department, I’m directly involved in developing new business strategies and assess opportunities and external partnerships with private and public schools or universities abroad.Training and CPD: Selection, induction, mentoring, and coaching of coordinators and teachers, performance reviews, observations, evaluations, and reports. Tailored annual CPD activities for the professional improvement of coordinators and teachers. External activities:Workshops, seminaries, presentations, and training.

- Assigning courses to teaching staff members according to their expertise and training;- Develop weekly course schedules and deliver them to the school;- Administering language-specific placement tests, guiding their assessment, and reporting scores and placement decisions to the Language Center administrative staff in Italy;- Selection, mentoring, and observation of new teachers;- Training new staff on teaching materials and curriculum;- Communication and implementation of school standards, policies, and procedures.

- Ensure that students reach the language objectives requested by the curriculum;- Preparing of teaching materials for classes and individual lessons;- Assist and mentor newly inducted teachers;- Participation in language placement testing;- Interview for the orientation of students studies;- Participation with other teachers in the development of new courses and curriculum

- Chinese/Italian language cultural mediator for projects in the public and private sector;- language interpreter and translator for Italian small-medium enterprises - quality controls, main sectors furniture, fashion, and F&B.

Business development activities for the Italian and French fashion market;Delivery of company’s portfolio and presentations for the development of new businesses; Draft & manage the budgets for project spend;Planning of visits to Paris and Milan fashion fairs; Creation & delivery of project performance reports;

-The overall direction of day-to-day plant’s operations;-Responsibility to ensure production output, product quality, on-time shipping, and spot-on customer service;-Share a trusting relationship with team members and recruit, manage and develop new staff;-Commit to plant safety procedures and SGS standards;-Represent the Company in negotiations of contracts with supplier and cooperation agreements with Chinese parties; -Sustaining the development of new business opportunity in the Chinese market;-Planning and organization of promotional events and participation in the furniture fair in Shanghai and Milan;

Organize and schedule meetings and appointments;Organize office operations and procedures;Manage contract and price negotiations with office vendors, service providers, and office lease;Planning and coordination of Italian government delegations and small-medium enterprises in China;Italian/Chinese interpreter on the occasion of formal meetings and visits to Government offices; Planning of B2B matchmaking business activities;Participate actively in the planning and execution of company events;Manage internal staff relations;

Support and follow up with members for all the events held by the Chamber.Support and organization in the participation of Italian customers at fairs and exhibitions in China.Contacts with Chinese Government agencies.Networking and Public relation activities.Translation of materials and text from Chinese to Italian.
