I‘ve always undertaken contract work with builders and subcontractors, ensuring that it in no way posed a conflict with any other commitments. In March of 2022 I made the decision to open Space Design and Construction Pty Ltd to service an industry short on resources and selectively partner with great people who resonate with my values.I really enjoy the freedom of working for myself, the ability to serve my clients honestly and directly and provide the highest level of service without compromise. When we work together you feel my passion for you and your business, as it resonates in the quality of my work. My goal to service. I shamelessly work hard and sweat to make what I do look easy and effortless.It gives me great pleasure to invest in myself and business with the purpose to serve an industry that is currently under resourced and going through major transformational changes and development - really a thrilling time to be alive. I strategically position myself to succeed by servicing select clients that show their trust and mutual commitment to execute projects and maintain a beneficial relationship.Backed by a portfolio of over 2000 commercial projects spanning 20 years of industry experience across ALL sectors of commercial building works (including all sectors deemed non-residential) with full competence in project management and delivery - who would you rather have on your team?

I commenced this formation to deepen my faith. Aged 37 I felt that simply religiously repeating weekly rituals wasn't the purpose of my faith and felt a calling to go deeper, simple as that. This itinerary of formation adapts the rites of the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) for those that have already been baptised, without repeating the sacrament of baptism.I love how The Neocatechumenal Way places a strong emphasis on new evangelisation, creating, fostering and growing communities, to be a catholic presence in secularised places.I aim to go beyond simply reading, memorising and knowing the Bible and the catholic faith. This is important because at this stage of my life it's profoundly obvious this society needs Faith, Hope and Love more than ever. These aren't simply words but Gods gifts from His Grace.Through this journey and growth I've been able to understand foundational principles about other "Christian denominations" such as Anglicans, Protestants, Lutherans, Uniting, Presbyterian and understanding the separation, commencing with the schism. This enabled me to better understand the society in which I live, and how history has shaped us. I am truly grateful for this because it has shown me a rare glimpse at how other Christians celebrate Christ with a mix of love, positivity, song, sheer hope and faith. I am blessed to have this experience. It is nothing short of exciting and promising how much we can learn from each other.With leadership from the Pope in Rome, I look forward to a reconciliation of all Christians and followers of Judaism (even if unlikely in my lifetime, I can do my bit towards it) and I am very proud of the work being done by the Pope in leading talks with leaders of Judaism and other forms of Christianity. I feel it is the start of what I pray is a bright and positive future for humanity.

Tendered against reputable competition and won and converted Projects from Tender to Construction on Council, Local Government and Education Projects.I loved the nature, size, location and complexity of projects.

I was the stand alone National Estimating Manager at SOFC Projects. Mentoring junior staff I compiled BOQ Cost Plans for projects in the Commercial, Health, Education, Industrial, Hospitality sectors up to $5Million. These projects are a mixed variety of minor refurbishments, full fit outs and full construction including demolition of existing structures, excavation and construction of Structural Elements.The projects are in various locations around Australia.After the project is awarded I then conduct a hand over to the Project Management Team for Delivery.Whilst holding the title and performing as Manager in this role, my management and decision making in the role was limited. I needed more opportunity in the decision making of hiring juniors to work with me. Sharing juniors with the construction team was a challenge, particularly when verbally indicating their displeasure and disinterest working in Estimating. This was reflected in their attitude and performance and understandably affecting their productivity and being hard to manage. Despite these challenges I'm proud of my teams effort to work and win tenders given the challenging circumstances. I thrive in and have a passion for tender management, assessment, resourcing allocation and mapping a winning strategy and this is my long term plan and goal. These are my strengths. I look forward to the right support, resources, and conditions within a good company to enable me to mark and record higher successes than I have achieved in the past.

In one financial year for Forma Projects I estimated and converted approximately $14Million worth of projects, a mix of small and complex projects, which resulted in approximate profits of about $4.5Million. This was in concert with the construction delivery team.From February 2019 to September 2020 I Cost Planned 91 projects in the commercial refurbishment space comprising of office fit outs, make goods, bathroom refurbishments, lift lobby upgrades and Design and Construct projects. Of those 91 projects I successfully converted 25 into live jobs that were profitable for the company.In the 1 year and 8 months that I was at Forma Projects as a stand alone Senior Estimator doing all the BOQ, trade pricing and cost planning I converted 28% of the bids.I completed the pre-construction Estimating Cost Plan enabling the Directors to provide Clients with a speedy budget/pricing service at ECI and at all stages of their project. Upon successful award I would then hand over to the Construction Delivery Team for a profitable delivery all costs covered.

As Senior Quantity Surveyor / Estimator for Pacific Services Group Holdings, a company of Indigenous heritage I worked on projects for the Federal Government, including Defence and Prime Minister and Cabinet on a variety of fit out, refurbishment and construction projects. I'm humbled to have had the opportunity to work with an amazing group of people and the opportunity to add projects of this nature to my experience.
