At Gallagher, one of the largest insurance brokerages of the world, I had the privilege to design, build and launch a data driven business that improved competition for the benefit of our clients. The business has exceeded the highest expectations. I directed the creation of analytic platforms, processes, contracts, and led change management efforts that received extremely positive client feedback. Many stakeholders stated that our product was the best in the industry. Additionally, given the unprecedented low-interest rates environment, I created value for clients by revamping the distribution approach and simplifying the back office of Gallagher premium financing.

At Aon Plc, a leading global professional service firm, I was directly involved in pioneering new processes that are now standard across the commercial insurance industry. I co-created and implemented the business and client service delivery models of a completely new data-driven business that generated significant revenue within two years. I oversaw the execution of new standardized processes, communications, and operational guidelines involving tens of thousands of employees across three continents. Before that, I helped in building a niche advisory group that resulted in four offices and more than one hundred employees on three continents.

I joined McKinsey & Co after my graduate studies and without really knowing what it was. McKinsey found me, I was not looking to become a consultant. Probably, I never became one, based on the feedback of my key clients. For them, the fact that I felt free to openly share unfiltered observations and my totally transparent approach to problem solving was a refreshing experience. Or so they said. McKinsey gave me the unique opportunity to work all across Europe, US, Middle East and Asia. I learnt to respect all cultures and appreciate their differences while leading teams on issues like insurance Solvency II, capital structure, distribution, leasing, and banking.
