Following my PhD in cancer immunology at the Technical University of Munich, I sought to apply the technology from my research to benefit patients directly. This ambition led to the founding of ImuVeo.ImuVeo addresses a significant gap in cancer therapy: the lack of a method to directly evaluate patient responses to cancer immunotherapy. ImuVeo is developing a PET-tracer that targets and visualizes human T cells, the key players in the immune response. This innovation allows physicians to determine patient responses within weeks rather than months, providing precise and real-time evaluations. Such timely assessments can save invaluable time for patients and ultimately save lives. ImuVeo is an EXIST Forschungstransfer-funded project based in Munich.
