About Dario Maccarrone

"Innovation is not an event. It's a process!" This has been my approach throughout my entire career with no fear of change and facing every challenge with enthusiasm. This is how, despite my technical background, specialization in network security and some experience as risk analyst, I started working in marketing for the telco industry. During this time I had the opportunity to work in cloud services in Madrid, Spain, as part of a Talent Exchange Programme and upon my return, following my personal interest in and passion for innovation and digital startups, I became director of one of TIM corporate Startup Accelerators where, in about 4 years, I've accelerated more the 40 startups, selected from over 800 applicants and participated to the growth of the local innovation ecosystem.That was a great journey, it has allowed me to gain insight into different areas and sectors, to develop a good strategic vision and has moved me to continuously improve hard and soft skills. I was ready to face my next challenge.I moved to Spain and started a new professional adventure as Head of Marketing and Communications at Loriot, a global IoT company where I'm in charge of designing, managing and executing the marketing and communication strategy both inbound and outbound.
