Also for Gruppo Espresso (then GEDI Digital) I was involved in the migration of a big part of the workloads from on premise to AWS, and from AWS to GCP, mostly dealing with infrastructure / networking / interconnect / IAM, application autoscaling, monitoring, logging.During the migration of the workloads on GCP, i laid down the Cloud Formation infrastructure as per the guidelines from Google, all using Terraform.

Babel srl was a Sun Microsystems partner, providing Professional Services (Sun PS).My work with Sun dealt with Solaris administration, troubleshooting, tuning, security, also within Sun Cluster environments.With babel i worked most with telcos; the most important projects were:- Startup, babysitting and 24/7 on-site support and management of the rossoalice.it, alice (italy/france/germany) billing, and IPTV infrastructures, for Telecom Italia- Protection and crypto of all the connections dealing with privacy-protected data (call logs, personal data) related to all the customers of TIM, the principal mobile provider in italy.- The new Vatican messaging infrastructure- SDA Italy messaging infrastructure- Startup of the PosteMobile infrastructure

I worked at Babel mainly as a Solaris system administrator, Sun Cluster specialist and installer, Linux system administrator, covering a range from small to enterprise Systems.With this company i gained a certification as Sun Certified Systems Installer for Sun Cluster 3.XMy main work dealt with configuring and installing Sun Cluster on mid to enterprise-sized servers, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and security.I also worked on a project, for the ENEA italian government agency, to boot some servers from AFS network file system, with centralized configuration; these servers are used as X servers for a series of X terminals in classrooms, for e-learning purposes.Other projects included managing mail servers and DNS servers
