• Design of advanced air system concepts as contribution to the next aircraft generation. Focus on aerodynamic and thermal design of the air system's aircraft under exploration. • Perform design (CAD) and simulations (CFD) to size, integrate and optimise major aerodynamic and thermal components for the aircraft. • Act as technical lead with strategic focus on advancing the methodology within the Airbus project.• Build Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) framework within the Airbus project.• Define and optimise a project team cooperation structure in an agile and dynamic transnational environment and act as a technical project coordinator.

• Technical Lead on Modeling and Simulation projects. Applications to EnvironmentalControl System (ATA21) to Sub-Systems,• Company Computational Fluid Dynamic CFD expert and focal point,• Audit of Alten’s current expertise and portfolio on Numerical Analysis’ projects with focus onCFD and Aerodynamics. Identification of the way forwards and creation of the Business Case with Business Management.• Support the Technical Direction during Call For Tenders of Physical Integration and SystemEngineering related projects.

Main responsibilities include:• Analyze, identity and define prospective partner’s needs/requirements/use cases to understand the best ways to address their needs• Design and develop multi-product prototype applications for new and existing partners• Consulting services engagements for partners including partner code reviews, re-factoring of partner applications, workflow analysis, and creating partner-specific implementations• Work successfully as part of a cross-functional team including Partner Development, Support Engineers, Development Managers and Product Management to improve product quality, partner experience and ease of use• Support Partner Development team in pre-sales meetings, conference calls, qualifying, and RFPs• Conduct demonstrations and presentations of various TS3D technologies to prospective partners• Deliver product training to partners at TS3D offices and at partner locations• Act as a “partner advocate” within TS3D – championing customer needs, enhancement requests and prioritizing bugs

R&D in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD):• Elaborate novel algorithms and implement them in the in-house CFD software,• Ownership of in-house software development and maintainability,• Planning, coordination and supervision of team’s contributions,• Modelling, pre and post-processing of civil and energy engineering aerodynamic problems.Lead the start-up of a Wind Tunnel, design and coordination of experimental tests:• Planning and organisation of experimental campaign for the identification of aerodynamic and aeroelastic behaviour of structures,• Project lead and team-coordination during Wind Tunnel Tests,• Identification of source of inaccuracy during wind tunnel tests,• Detailed design (CAD) of improved experimental rigs,• Analysis of results data and identification of margins of experimental campaign improvements.

Research and implementation of goal oriented strategies (Adjoint based) for the CFD grid generation and analysis:• Analysis and in-depth documentation of flow structure characteristics in transonic aerodynamic problems• Research and implementation of a numerical sensor (goal-oriented) to evaluate the localquality of generated grids,• Grid adaptation driven by the numerical sensor,• Assessment of grid qualities and tests to Airbus in-house reference grids,• In-depth study of the underlying physics as ultimate validation.
