I have 5 years of experience working with children in various age groups. Currently, I work as a Pre-K4 Teacher for Austin's Head Start program, Child Inc. In this role, I am able to prepare children with their beginning tools for the rest of their school careers, and have a daily, direct link with the families. Before Child Inc., I was a full time student at Texas State, working on my Bachelor's in Family and Child Development. When I was not in my own classes, I worked in Learning Centers, and as a substitute for Hays ISD and KIPP Charter Schools. My passion is demonstrating the importance of quality and caring early childhood education in the hope that my example spreads to other people also putting education first.
