I am the first contact to attend emergency bridges during the highest priority incidents to assist in restoring connectivity, access, and/or functionality.These issues spanned through all of the many ways to integrate with ServiceNow, with focus in a few areas:- Solved customer issues with the import and transform of their data. Such as through the configuration of data sources and their protocols (HTTPS, SFTP, etc), or even the transform maps responsible for preparing that data for their instances.- Kept email communications moving between customers and their instances. Resolving these issues requires an intimate understanding of message protocols (SMTP, IMAP, POP3) and how they interact, along with security features such as DKIM and SPF.- Cracked authentication issues for both customer access to their instances and for external communications, such as inbound and outbound REST. This helped me develop a strong understanding of OAuth flows, issues, and practices. Multi-provider SSO is always a fun challenge to overcome as well!- Debugged JavaScript in customer scripts to isolate issues they may be causing for their integrations, especially within installation exits or inbound email actions. This often extends to business rules and script includes as well.
