•Perform Drillsite Title work on large leasehold estates in North Central West Virginia. Research courthouse records to determine current surface ownership for various pipeline projects in West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Ohio.•Investigate surface and subsurface ownership, liens/judgments, utility easements and agricultural and/or conservation easements, and current oil and gas leaseholder, specific to client request.•Database entry into client-specific document management system to create a Limited Title Certificate (i.e. Title Report) as well as preventing duplication of title.•Plat deed calls using Greenbrier Graphics program to determine parcel shape when necessary.

Coal Ownership Project•Researched 35 parcels in Upshur and Lewis Counties using courthouse records (i.e. deed books, land books, death records, etc.) to determine current surface ownership and coal ownership.•Created one comprehensive report for client to illustrate the chain of title from surface ownership back to 1890 and from the severance of coal forward to present day for all 35 tracts of land to help client make important leasing decisions. •Platted deed calls using Greenbrier Graphics program to determine parcel and coal formation shape when necessary.
