In this role I oversee the process of new installation of boilers across my region from initial survey to order of materials to actual labour for installation. I also cover procedures regarding gas services that need to be completed under council regulations. This is a managerial position in which I work closely with the gas engineers, surveyors and installation engineers to ensure we meet the demands expected by our client.

I was trained extensively for 4 weeks in several ATOS banking systems (Up to 4 different systems may need to be used on one call to process all the queries of the customer) as well as correct customer service techniques to improve call experience and professionalism (sign posting, managing expectations, etc) allowing me to understand and deal with various queries involving the products available through NS&I. I gained valuable administrative experience through my daily tasks such as; leaving notes on customers profiles, when necessary chasing up solutions with the back office through clear and effective email communication, and effectively listening and note taking for retention when on calls.

During my time as administrative assistant at the Isla Gladstone, my main responsibilities pertained to answering calls, redirecting calls where necessary to correct channels for example directing bookings enquires to our website/delegated phone number, also quickly jotting down enquires from possible customers when necessary. As well as telephone responsibilities, I had a range of responsibilities AD-HOC, these included but where not limited to; sorting business post, making stock or equipment orders, filing, and managing personal work diary for organisational purposes.I gained valuable experience in professional communication, enabling me to understand better how to communicate as part of a professional back office to an events service.

In this role I was assigned an aisle in the store, I would need to ensure that all of stock was replenshed in a timely fashion and that the aisle looked at all times neat and organized and clean with all products placed under their corresponding price tags. I was responsible for communicating with customers and resolving their enquiries wherever possible as well as advising on if we had certain products and where they could be found in the store. Also when price tags where missing, I had to scan the product using the print gun, print the product tag and place it under the corresponding product in a timely manner. I was also trained after 3 months in the use of the cash resgister and cash handling procedures. Occasionally (Once or twice a week) I would spend 1-2 hours as a cashier my procedures where as follows; scan items, use cash register to calculate total, take customers money/set up card payment,(if paper/coin only) open cash regsiter; secure cash in appropriate tray,, re-fund appropriate change, re-secure register, print reciept.

When at Childwall, I played basketball for the EABL team (U17 and U19) for the college. We competed in various basketball leagues and tournaments aside from the EABL fixtures, resulting in around 32 games in total per season. The college also had a younger team that was to be developed into taking our positions once we moved on. Part of our role as players on the elite older squad was coaching our replacements. I took several sessions throughout the year, the younger teams session would often be before ours, and we would take these sessions, running through various; lay-up technique, lay-up gather steps (rhythm), dribble pull up left and right, correctly plant and pivoting, correctly filling lanes during fast break offence, correctly ball shadowing during fast break defence, and the importance of team communication. I throughly enjoyed being able to take part as an intern coach, I love the sport of Basketball, and have a depth of experience from my almost 15 years playing in both competitive games (Northwest conference, EABL, Regional selection) as well as attending basketball camps across the country, this made coaching a young group very fun for me.
