Tax Analysts and Payroll Specialists

Southern Region WorkDay Payroll Analyst· Interpret day-to-day business objectives and preparation/execution of operational practices· Process weekly and biweekly pay runs· Responsible for processing payroll with in WORKDAY HR/Payroll system from end to end.· Ensures the computing, withholding and deductions associated with net pay is done properly· Calculates gross to net payments of expenses related to relocation and expatriation· Special projects as requested by Management· Completes tasks as required by external and internal auditors· Assist with payroll tax year end closing including W-2 and 1099 generation· Assist in monitoring workload and evaluate direct reports and may review the evaluations/development plans of others· Escalate potential service issues to Payroll manager· Identify process improvement initiatives and define standards for new processes· Cover for team members in back-up role for vacation and/or high-volume work efforts· Enforces established payroll related policies, procedures and regulations· Schedules and assigns work· Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service Complies, without exception, with all safety regulations and guidelines while on Company property; performs work with the utmost regard for safety and health of all involved.

Successfully manages multiple aspects of human resources including client relations, project coordination, and operations while serving as asubject matter expert and advising management on methods to improve best practices Identifies and implements ideas for improving methodologies, supporting system changes, and evaluating new products,services, and projects Works with third-party providers to ensure seamless process delivery, leads process improvements for new and existing processes, and ensuresthat process flows are complete and within the defined scope for projects Researches general ledger and other accounting inquiries, responding in an informative manner and documenting problem resolution steps, andperforming quality assurance on various accounting functions as needed Communicates effectively with clients and internal partners for analysis/resolution of issues or project impacts, discusses issues and their impacton service delivery, and monitors scope throughout the project to ensure s cope is base-lined, and that changes are evaluated for impact Facilitates data correction in relation to the general ledger as a result of the payroll cycle/calendar, minimizes errors by identifying root causes,and assess data relevance throughout accounting reconciliation analysis
