I graduated from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan class of 2000 magna cum laude with a 3.7 GPA. My proudest college achievement was winning the annual WSU Patient Counseling Competition, then competing at the state level MPA convention, where I was a top 5 finalist. Growing up I was fascinated with physical sciences and exposed to the medical field as family members were Registered Nurses, practicing Pharmacy allows me to combine both fields effectively.2003-current Omnicare: During college we had multiple guest lecturers from Omnicare, it was always my goal to join them. LTCF practice allows me to focus my full education potential and experience. I have held multiple positions including Residential Care lead pharmacist (2008-2010) and then promoted 2011 to HDPV1 regional team. I verify orders for multiple branches in Michigan and Ohio, this position is challenging, rewarding, and considered "best of the best" because of multi-tasking, computer savviness, patient focus, optimum workflow, and Controlled Substance requirements. I often traveled to train other branches on computer transitions, spending a week at a time in West Branch and Grand Rapids locations. I received IV compounding and Pain management training in Perrysburg Ohio and have handled various projects, such as nurse detailing and Pyxis compliance site visits. Prior to the CVS acquisition I was our Livonia Michigan location Safety Coordinator, dealing with MSDS compliance. I have helped with employee training, recruitment, DEA visit compliance, computer innovation feedback, and multiple other projects. 2000-2003 Walgreens: Initially a staff pharmacist, then part of the district "cleanup crew" as co-manager helping to reorganize 24-Hour locations that were having problems. Promoted to RXM (Pharmacy Manager) in mid-2001 and managed 2 locations. My main achievements were high customer satisfaction metrics, promoting email patient registration, improving KPI's and doctor detailingI have a busy family but still make time available for various volunteer activities, both profession and family oriented. I joined Knights of Columbus at our parish, because of the special needs fundraising that I actively advocate for with my eldest son. I have helped out at my childrens' school prior to Covid on Career Nights promoting the Pharmacy profession. When possible my favorite hobby is fishing, I have enjoyed it since childhood. I stay up to date with computer technology for multiple reasons, and created our WSU Pharmacy 1999-2001 Facebook group for alumni. Fluent in Polish
