About Darius Edwards
My undergradute education in communication and broadcasting has taught me about the various skills needed in the industry, I have put my skills to practice outside of the classroom. My experience includes observational internship with Fox 34 in Lubbock, Texas where I had the opportunity to work and cover Friday Night Football games. I was fortuned to work for Raider Vision at Texas Tech University. It provided me with the ability to report on many different sports games as well as working as a cameraman. This experience was the most rewarding by capturing the events on the field or court through my storytelling and view through the lens.I currently am doing play by play for the Dallas Morning News covering high school football games. I am an inspiring sports broadcaster and I would like an be thankful for any opportunity in this industry
