As a devoted practitioner to the field of Higher Education I take pride in providing distinguished instruction, leadership, and guidance to the students and staff that I encounter. It is my conviction that process matters when I assume a leadership role on campus, and I strive to meet the needs of the constituency that I serve. I hold myself and those that I supervise to a high ethical standard, and those standards guide me during my decision making process. When faced with adversity, I operate with the proper mix of diplomacy and tact while dealing with the diverse concerns of a student populace. As a visionary in this field I am always certain to support recommendations with research and assessment strategies to locate best practices. With students as the focus, I can begin to provide them with the support and assistance needed to see them persist towards graduation. I have a philosophy of ensuring collaborative governance through institutional reform with an emphasis on producing students that can find success in today’s global society.
