former POST certification in law enforcement (LE) standards and have more than 20 years of experience in military (Ret), LE and private security. In addition to hands-on experience, I have several certifications as an instructor and continue to expand my education to help prepare law enforcement, military and private security professionals. I am also a proponent in teaching responsible citizens the skills needed to properly and safely deploy lethal and non-lethal self-defense methods.I have trained in conflict resolution, investigations, medical first responder, patrol operations, hostage rescues, defensive tactics, and counter-terrorism. My duties in the past include serving high-risk search warrants, performing operations to engage heavily armed criminals, and subduing barricaded suspects. My training included utilizing specialized LE equipment, multiple types of firearms, armored assault vehicles, advanced night vision optics, and motion detectors. All of my training has helped me serve as an operator in executive protection details.Though my time is split among different security details and instructional training, I am open to opportunities in which my talent and interest are of a good fit to any organization on a contractor basis or for employment.
