Currently, my role is as an IT development engineer, working within the Mortgage field, primarily Loansphere (Empower.net) platform. My responsibilities include standing up the architectural structure of the base applications in lower environments, creating and modifying base code as needed and staging environmental variables via TFS to prepare applications for rollout into production based environments. This also includes connecting API's, GUI's and platforms to the current environment. Additionally, my responsibilities would be to lead the charge in triage from an infrastructural and application structure, serving as the last line of defense to mediating issues and ensuring a fluid rollout for deployments and releases. In turn, as engineer, the ownership of application relies on my implementation, and duties for bug and defect triage, modification of environmental frameworks, standing up lower test environments, etc are delegated to myself, or an adjacent developer on the team.From a non-technical perspective: I use my best judgement aligned with my years of technical expertise to ensure operational balance is met on a daily basis and guiding the course of future state development changes and integrations.
