I am currently a program participant and volunteer at Saddles in Service an up and coming Veteran owned organization located in Descanso, CA who focus is teaching and training Heroes, yes Active Duty, Veterans, Law Enforcement, First Responders, Firefighters and many more in learning Natural Horsemanship skills with use of rescued and well trained horses and interwoven into it all is therapy, therapy for both the horse and the Hero. I worked as a Ranch Hand for many years on many ranches and riding facilities public and private and just recently at the Windsor Equestrian Center in Lakeside, CA, I was the Barn Attendant at one of the biggest and most prestigious animal rescues in Rancho Santa Fe, CA. I worked, as the Barn Attendant, for Helen Woodward Animal Center located in Rancho Santa Fe, CA in the Therapy Riding Center. I have always had a deep heart felt passion for horses, which started at a very young age when I lived in Philadelphia, PA where I was actually first introduced to horses. I wanted horses of my own, own my own horse ranch and having other livestock on miles of acres. After volunteering at Ferdinands Familia Rescue Ranch in Imperial Beach, CA for over two years dedicating many hours day in and day out, that opportunity was only the beginning of furthering my passion, my hopes, my dreams, my goals, and my career with horses. All of these opportunities and experiences, including my current experience at Saddles in Service have helped me in believing my career, my goals, hopes, and dreams as a Ranch Hand/Owner, a Horse Wrangler, a Horse Trainer, Horse Breeder, Rodeo competitor, ect, are obtainable and everyday I am closer to accomplishment. With that being said, I still have so much to learn. I am looking forward to discovering new opportunities to assist me with furthering my education and knowledge as I continue on my adventure, my crusade, my journey, to become and all around Cowboy.
