I was born in New Zealand but grew up all over the world in many of the major continents (The Middle East, Oceania, Europe, Africa, Asia). My initial education was widely varied and, above all, gave me an appreciation for the many different cultures that exist and how they stand out. It also taught me about the many varied struggles that each culture existed with. Many of which go unseen, thereby unknown. In my professional career, I've always held charity and social / environmental sustainability as inextricable points that I hold close to my heart. I always incorporate them into the organisations that I found / co-found.At the core, I don't believe its possible for an organisation or institution to be truly sustainable unless they incorporate and build socially and environmental governance standards into their foundations. While I've touched on many different skill-sets over the years, it's in the nonprofit and charitable space that I've decided to plant my feet.
