Hi,Im Darius Lau, when I was a kid I used to say “when I grow up I want to be an inventor”. Later in life... actually in the middle of junior high I came across a book that inspired me so much that I decided that I would become an industrial designer. I wanted to be the next Phillipe Starck… however halfway through college I changed my point of view… I realized that I didn’t want to be another expert with a hammer looking at every problem as if it were a nail. This led me to redesign my approach to design.I began focusing not only on the process but also on the desired outcome of the process of design, on defining jobs to be done and rethinking the system that delivers design. I embraced multidisciplinary work and design thinking, broadening my learning spectrum. I learned about business model innovation and technology, about finance and about entrepreneurship.I now think of myself as an inventor, a creator, a builder and a curious observer of the world around me : ) I’m a Mexican guy with a passion for learning and asking questions, for merging ideas and growing possibilities.
