Continuation of final year project for the school of pharmacy at QUB.Working on the creation of assessment software to be used by school of pharmacy students and staff members.The application facilitates a streamlined process for creating assessments as well as the extraction of statistics for assessments undertaken by students.The application is built using the MEAN stack.

Being employed as a shop assistant has provided me with a wide array of key skills which would be an asset in any role. Leadership and Taking Responsibility - The position of team leader on evening shifts has developed these skills immensely. The position involved distributing roles to other staff members and making sure all the set tasks were accomplished, it also meant I was responsible for locking up the store as a key-holder. Communication and Customer Service - Working behind the counter has undoubtedly improved my social skills and has allowed me to communicate with people from all backgrounds. This ranged from solving any queries of non-English speakers to establishing good relationships with local customers and making sure their experience is the best it could be. Teamwork and Working Under Pressure - Due to the location of the shop, it sees a staggering number of tourists every day. This leads to an environment where you are required to work under pressure and coordinate effectively with the other members of staff on shift. Every shift involves juggling various tasks at once: from working the floor to, helping out on the tills or solving a problem a customer may face you with. Show less
