Coordinating Lifeguard operations during both call and non-call days included a number of different responsibilities, such as leading opening and closing procedures, being first responder on any advanced medical emergency, being responsible for checklists and schedules, as well as to assist guests with problem solving on daily basis. Assist with Island activities and monitor the integrity of all adult areas Monitor the safety of guests and rotate among multiple lifeguard stations 300 feet apart Clean/rent equipment – bikes, snorkel masks, boats and floats Clean and oversee beach/boat lagoon Actively support Port Adventures (shore excursion) operation Leading Jet Ski excursions Train Recreation staff for: PWC, 17ft Boston Whaler etc. Execute additional job responsibilities, as assigned by DCL leadership, based on operational need Comply with all company set policies and procedures, along with all maritime and ship rules, regulations and procedures Work onboard a Disney Cruise Line ship periodically. When onboard, monitor children/family pools and water slides/Aqua Duck water coaster, as well as all onboard recreational areas while ensuring safety of all guests and enforcing rules Participate in Emergency Duties as specified in the ship Assembly Plan
