...holds a PhD in Museum/Heritage Studies and works as associate professor at the Sub-Department of Museology and Heritage Management (University of Zagreb, Croatia). After earning double MA in Ethnology and Communication Sciences/Museology he gained experience working as project manager on international projects, as an organiser of museum/heritage conferences, as an archivist, as PR specialists or as assistant on national TV...Always active in contributing to the advancement of the museum/heritage profession - at the moment as a member of the Boards of ICOM-ICTOP and as Chairman of ICOM Croatia, as a member of the Supervisory Committee to the European Association for Heritage Interpretation (210-2019). And after 2019 as ICOMOS-ICIP Board member, as Vice-chair for policy. My interests include diverse topics related to museums/heritage: and development, management and interpretation (especially eco-museums), and I just adore heritages of the Mediterranean and still to be further developed own idea of heritage literacy. I have significant working experience on EU projects and as a free-lance heritage consultant.
