Sales & Outdoor Marketing Activities
Gothenburg, Sweden
You know those guys interrupting you at the street, when you are in the rush to where ever, wanting to sell you stuff or collect money for charity? That was me. Great school. Most of the time we were working for AmEx, selling their cards. Point of sale was big shopping malls, trade fairs, big squares, train stations, airports etc. There really is no better sales school, as long as you don't give up, lake lessons from your failures and keep improving your short pitch, body language, energy level. One of the lessons I learned here was to never judge people by their appearance. A guy in a dirty denim jacket could be your Gold Card customer, while you are giving all of your attention to some suited block, (wearing the suite to score chicks in the mall) who 30 minutes later will say: "What, I need a job to sign for this?"
