Throughout my time as a student, I have had two major areas of interest. The first is writing, where I worked on plenty of my own ideas throughout the years and slowly started to expand out. The second is animation, which I practised as best as I could with the limited software available to me.While at Halesowen College, I started to grow into both of these areas more. I used Weebly to set up a place to put fan-created and occasional original created stories, with a blog following soon after. And with animation I put a focus on finding a style to suit me. Moving to Staffordshire University gave me a boost in being more professional about both areas. Writing moved to WattPad and a Blogger account. I purchased Toon Boom to help with animation.Now at the end of the university course, I feel I have grown into what I want to be. My writing has grown into something better, and the main of my work lies in it. While I still enjoy animation as a work of art, I found that it wasn't an industry I wanted to work in. The reason I became interested in it is the same reason I was attracted to writing. It was a way to express the ideas I concept in a viewable medium. Rather than continue with two forms of expression, I shifted my focus to be entirely upon my writing.In terms of my likes, I have three core franchises which I feel have helped me grow in some way. Star Wars is the largest of those cores, and to this day I feel it has always helped me and influenced me within my work.
