In my role at Ingeus I fixed bugs and added additional functionality to Ingeus' Web Application which is built on Bond's AdaptUX software. I mainly worked with Transact-SQL writing Stored Procedures, as well as AdaptUX's bespoke 'Business Object' tool, and I did a small amount of work with SSIS Packages for importing .csv data to our tables. In addition to the developing I got involved with testing when we released new builds of the application.

I worked on the Service Desk providing IT Support for around 400 employees spread across multiple client companies. My day-to-day job involved dealing with the first Line of tickets and escalating more severe tickets up to the Senior members of the team. I also had responsibility over the Temporary Passes that were issued to new members of staff, and had to deactivate any that were no longer needed to prevent security risks.

During my time at Athona I was working in a team of 4 which made up the whole of the IT Department. This meant that alongside handling the 1st line tickets, I was getting involved with the hardware side of things as well. Further to this, I was also tasked with doing some small programming projects during my time there. These projects were completed in C#.Net and ranged from an image file converter, to a program that processed the timesheets.

My responsibilities at Havering Sixth Form College were to prepare and supervise Practical Lessons for the students. I had to select the Hardware and Software requirements that would suit their needs the best. An example of a Practical lesson that I had to manage involved the students connecting to each other over a small LAN and starting a Video Conference. Other roles included teaching basic HTML and Python to the students, which I did a couple of times during my time there.
