I teach PreAlgebra, Algebra I & II, Geometry, Trigonometry and Foundations in Personal Finance, an alternative math class. I'm responsible for developing the high school math curriculum and aligning it with the Montana Education Standards. I use the TI-84 Plus CE calculators to teach math concepts and to expose my students to technology. I write lesson plans, manage a classroom, and assess my students' math abilities. I improve my teaching by collaborating with other teachers, taking classes and implementing my newly gained knowledge in my classes.

Process and code invoices, research well activity, communicate with foremen about charges to a well and the work done on a well, effectively communicate with vendors about invoices received and build a good rapport with them; work with my lead and other colleagues in the accounting department to collaborate, share information about coding and well activity, and to receive assistance on processing invoices.Proficient with Wellview Reporting, SiteView, Citrix Wellview, iSeries and ADP software programs.

I Taught 6th grade math, 8th grade alternative math and 8th grade Algebra I. I worked with a team of 6th grade teachers to organize events, work on school wide goals, and to offer assistance to one another about specific students. I modified my secondary teaching methods to effectively instruct middle school students. I updated and aligned the school curriculum to Montana's new education standards. I was the Youth Alive Advisor.

I taught Pre-Algebra, Algebra I and II, Geometry, and Consumer Math. I worked with a team of teachers in the Freshmen Academy, a select group of teachers who taught freshmen classes in order to acclimate Freshmen to the high school setting and aide them in succeeding in their first year of high school. I won a grant to purchase supplemental materials for the Consumer Math curriculum. I collaborated with other math colleagues in planning and designing curriculum. I was an adult education teacher. I was a National Honors Society Advisor.

This was a summer job. I taught migrant students various math courses through a distance learning program called Plato. I communicated with migrant students' schools to ensure that the students were enrolled in the correct courses and that the students would be able to receive credit for their classes upon their return to their perspective schools in the fall. I kept accurate records of students' progress. I chaperoned students when they attended the yearly leadership conference.

Responsible for teaching all math courses including PreAlgebra, Algebra I and II, Geometry, and Trigonometry. I also taught a creative writing class and a yearbook class. Chaperoned freshmen on a class trip and assisted in fundraising events. Updated the school's yearbook publishing method from cut and paste to Adobe Publisher.

Taught speaking, reading and American culture to 1st year management, marketing and accounting students. Worked with two other teachers to market and implement our curriculum for the first time at Guang Wai. Persisted in only speaking English in our classes so our students would become better English speakers. Creatively taught American culture so our students could understand America and its traditions.
