Mental Health Clinician (Asw)
Current*Provide psychotherapy, case management and crisis intervention services to FSP program clients at risk of hospitalization, detention and /or incarceration in an effort to avert aforementioned decompensation. * Responsible and authorized to initiate a Lanterman-Petris-Short (LPS) (WIC 5150) application on behalf of patients served within the Los Angeles County for the purpose of allowing individuals posing as a danger to self, others or gravely disabled to be involuntarily detained in a 72-hour psychiatric facility. * Work with treatment team (i.e. psychiatrist, case manager, program manager, clinical director) to coordinate services and monitor client treatment plans and treatment goals. Plan, develop and prepare for weekly clinical staff meetings and supervision.* Complete Adult Initial Assessment, Treatment Plans and Tri-Annual Assessments and other required administrative updates clinically relevant to the individual client and in accordance with the Los Angeles County Department ofMental Health standards.
