Darleen has 15 years of high technology public relations (consumer and business), corporate communications and executive counseling and thought leadership experience. Currently, she is Senior Director of Corporate Public Relations at UTStarcom.From 1997 - 2007, Darleen worked at global public relations firm Porter Novelli. From 2004-2007, Darleen served as Porter Novelli's worldwide lead for the HP Personal Systems Group (PSG) account spanning the Consumer, Commercial and Small Business segments. The HP PSG product range includes consumer and business PCs, digital entertainment products, televisions, workstations and iPAQ mobile devices.Previously, Darleen served as strategic communications counsel to Micron (the world’s second-largest memory chip producer) regarding ongoing Department of Justice, Federal Trade Commission and Rambus civil litigation. In her ten years at Porter Novelli, Darleen led communications campaigns for a range of enterprise and consumer technology companies including Wells Fargo, Nokia, Philips, LeftHand Networks and Think Dynamics (aquired by IBM). Darleen's experience includes corporate PR, product PR, messaging and positioning, crisis PR and global program coordination.Prior to joining Porter Novelli, Darleen served as an Account Executive at high-tech PR agency Cunningham Communication, representing Motorola in the AIM (Apple-IBM-Motorola) alliance for PowerPC microprocessors.
