HI, my name is Darlene, I am a hard working, energetic woman with a multitude of experience's. I feel as if I've done this whole work, career thing backwards. As my resume will show, I've worked in many different places, always looking for that one perfect fit for me. I have liked everything I have done along the way, and learned many things. I was so excited when I was hired at Children's Services, that to me was going to be my dream job, that was not the case, it opened my eyes to what I have been looking for. As a caseworker, I got the most pleasure helping families, referring them to services, checking on them to see how they were doing, and if they need anything. I found out how much I disliked the biggest part of casework, paperwork, court, reports, removals, liability, I wanted no part of that. I looked at my past places of employment and realized there is a pattern, things I loved all include helping people, doing things for others, being someone's assistant, so with all this being said, I have realized I want to be a family support worker in some capacity, or personal assistant. I have many years of experience working with people in numerous situations, and environments. My achievements are many when it comes to helping people, and making their life better! I feel I would be a valuable asset to any organization who needs a support person.
