Darlene Henke, President and CEO, co-founded Audit Logistics in 2002. Ms. Henke is recognized as the leading expert in hospitality logistics with over $850,000,000 of FF&E shipped and over 3,000 hotel projects completed since the company’s inception.   Throughout her career, Ms. Henke has established a reputation based on integrity, hard work, and dedication to the hospitality industry. Audit Logistics provides third party transportation, warehousing, and installation services to the global hospitality industry, and has a unique, agent only, disclosed fee business model, pioneered by Ms. Henke. Today, the firm provides the only fully auditable and 100% transparent logistics services available to the hospitality industry.   Ms. Henke began her career in third party logistics during the early 90’s and brought over a decade worth of supply chain management experience to Audit Logistics.  Ms. Henke and her organization have established a nationwide recycling program for electronics, mattresses, and other items involved in the hotel capital expenditures, renovation and new construction process. In 2007, she developed a partnership status with SmartWay Transport – a organization endorsed by the Environmental Protection Agency of the US Government (“EPA”)  that has initiatives focused on reducing fuel consumption and total CO2 emissions.  Ms. Henke drove sustainability efforts throughout the organization and Audit Logistics is currently the only logistics provider included in Hospitality Purchasing Index offered by Mindclick. Ms. Henke also works with owners, asset managers, vendors, design firms, purchasing agents and other hospitality industry professionals to explore alternative packaging processes, shipping lanes, and port options for international shipments, a practice that also reduces CO2 emissions and fuel consumption, while creating significant, hard dollar cost savings for the hotel owner.
