I provide general Civil Engineering Design Services including: the design of sanitary sewer systems and services; water infrastructure systems; storm water systems and structures; detention, retention and water quality features including utilization of Best Management Practices (BMPs); streets and roadways; subdivisions; sites and parking lots; pedestrian paths and ADA accessibility; as well as foundations, retaining walls, septic systems, minor structures and much more. I also prepare drainage reports, engineering feasibility studies, design analysis reports as well as storm water management plans (SWMPs) and provide structural and site assessments.In addition to design, my services include complete construction document preparation/review and Construction Administration. This includes pre-bid coordination, bid evaluation, construction inspection, scheduling, submittal review, coordination with multiple contractors and consultants, problem solving, preparation of addendums, change orders, punch-lists, etc. and project closeout as well as completion of as-built documentation and construction reports.

I performed hydraulic and hydrologic analysis as part of drainage and water quality design and in preparation of drainage reports. In addition, I prepared engineering feasibility studies, design analysis reports as well as storm water management plans (SWMPs). I also provided structural and site assessments.Construction document preparation/review and Construction Administration was also a part of my position. I prepared/reviewed complete construction and bidding documents including plans (plan & profiles, site plans, grading & drainage plans, erosion control plans, geometric plans, utility plans, demolition plans and construction details), specifications, engineering construction cost estimates, construction project manuals and bidding documents. I performed pre-bid coordination, bid evaluation, construction inspection, scheduling, submittal review, coordination with multiple contractors and consultants, problem solving, preparation of addendums, change orders, punch-lists, etc. and project closeout as well as completion of as-built documentation and construction reports. In this position I also provided marketing services including networking, proposal preparation, contract negotiation, etc. as well as planning and management of staff and projects.

In the beginning of 2001 I started a new career in Civil Engineering. In this position with Northstar, I provided general civil engineering design for subdivisions, site development, streets, utilities, and drainage and prepared construction documents including drawings and specifications. I also performed hydraulic and hydrologic analysis in preparation of drainage reports.

I performed design of various power plant systems including compressed air systems, Argon Systems, Cooling Systems, etc., HVAC design and analysis for buildings as well as plant decommissioning at Rocky Flats Nuclear Weapons Plant near Golden, Colorado.
