Assist middle school math and science teachers in the classroom. Lead workshops with groups of students and mentor students individually. Monitor and report student progress. Assist teachers in grading papers, copying materials, and preparing bulletin boards. Provides classroom support daily and direction to students during independent study. Develop lesson plans for small groups. Run daily personal learning time with class through Summit Learning and Lexia. Supervise students outside of classroom. Hold tutoring sessions weekly and during school breaks. Substitute for Kindergarten through eighth grade as needed.

Involved in training new employees, motivating, and making sure that canvassers met their weekly goals. Other responsibilities included mapping out territories and keeping financial records for each canvasser. Along with the duties as a Field Manager, was involved as a Canvasser, going door to door along the South Bay and Monterey Bay, educating the public about important issues and campaigns, such as banning Roundup to save the bees, and stopping environmental rollbacks, through Environment California and CALPIRG. Encouraged people to get involved through petition signing, raising money, building support, calling the Senators, and getting people aware of the issues we are presenting them with.

Greeted and checked in members and children, scheduled tours and appointments with sales representatives. Collected payments in person and over the phone. Answered phone calls, redirected calls to appropriate representatives, Watched and engaged with children three months to eleven years of age. Supported children’s emotional and social development. Maintained a clean and safe environment for the children.

Worked at various location along West Cliff Drive in Santa Cruz, CA removing invasive plant species, while planting and maintaining various native plant species. We enhanced the native biodiversity through community based restoration, education, and science. Involved in planting native species through use of knowledge of how species grow naturally without use of pesticides or any other chemicals.

Tested machinery before and during production for mold, bacteria, and yeast while also sampling machinery for, specifically, E. Coli and salmonella to be sent to Genista Biosciences. Discussed results with Sanitation Supervisor and Quality Control Supervisor while maintaining detailed records and filing paperwork accordingly.
