Darlene DeMoss is an Army Veteran, licensed minister, transformational speaker and coach, and visionary business leader. She is incredibly passionate about the profound potential we all possess to transform our lives for the better. This burning desire to empower individuals and facilitate their journey toward personal growth and fulfillment has been a driving force in her life. Whether through youth mentoring, coaching, or simply lending a helping hand, she is dedicated to harnessing the power of transformation to ignite positive change in the lives of those she encounters. Pursuing this purpose fuels her every action and brings her immeasurable joy and fulfillment. After years of military service, working in corporate and non-profit organizations and for the U.S. Senate, Darlene decided to pursue her real passion and, in September of 2021 founded HBH Recovery. HBH Recovery is a grief recovery practice that plays a crucial role in helping individuals navigate the complex and often overwhelming process of grieving and healing after experiencing significant loss or heartbreak. She empowers individuals to navigate their grief healthily and constructively, promoting emotional healing and helping them move forward while honoring their loss. Her services also include helping children with loss and navigating pet loss. Her training as an Advanced Grief Recovery Specialist through the Grief Recovery Institute© and her Transformational Life Coach and Speaker certifications allow her to provide her clients with the support and tools they need to achieve their wholeness goal. Darlene understands grief is personal and unique to everyone, and that's how she designed her program. To meet the uniquely specific needs of each griever.Darlene has a personal goal of reaching 10,000 people through her grief recovery programs. She is working on projects to implement this program at the VA and other government entities. She is also working with school systems to implement her Helping Children with Loss program to equip parents, teachers, administrators, or anyone tasked with caring for children to recognize grief and answer the hard questions surrounding the feelings of grief and loss.Darlene hosts a Heal Baby Heal podcast on Spotify and YouTube, extending her healing message to the masses. She is now working on a series of children’s books as a resource to help parents discuss grief with their children and explain it as the natural and normal process we all experience in our lives.
