Darlene L. Hart affectionately known as Lady D is your lifestyle specialist. As a mother of 5, wife of 25 years, Entreprenuer, Coach, Author and a personal cheerleader to many. Darlene has experiences many setbacks in life, but God gave her the ability to use it all use it to transform her life and she shows others how to do the same. Darlene has been featured in several publications online and in print to name a few is the Federal Aviation Administration, Incline Magazine, and First Baptist Church of Glenarden. Darlene has also served as the keynote speaker, workshop facilitator, conference and retreat speaker and conference host. Darlene is the creator and visionary for the Behind the Makeup project. Darlene brings together women from various backgrounds in ministry to share their testimony of hope and inspiration. The first book called Behind the Makeup, which is co-Authored by 7 women all whom serve in ministry. Her second book in this series is Behind The Makeup of a Leading Lady, which is co-Authored by and features 8 women in which all serve as the Leading Lady in their ministry. Lady Darlene is eager to release her much anticipated book, called 6 Months to Life, a 183-day guide to releasing the past and moving forward into the life you were meant to live. 6 Months to Life is a daily inspirational activity book that was created to encourage people to take active steps in changing their life. Lady D has also completed another life goal in July 2014, which was starting a foundation named Ensuring The Future, a 501 (c)3 non profit organization geared to empowering families that are suffering from drug and alcohol addiction. Her work in the community has awarded Philanthropist of the year. Darlene has surrendered her life to God and the leading of the Holy Spirit. She has accepted the call to stand alongside her husband as his only lady and the First Lady of the Christian Tabernacle Church of God located in Washington, DC.
