In August 2001, I joined Formscorp after working as a supplier for nearly six years. Russ Troyan, the founder, invited me to join his team, but it took me a year to accept his offer. Before that, my previous employer went bankrupt and canceled our insurance while my 1-year-old son was in the ICU, forcing us into bankruptcy due to overwhelming medical bills.At Formscorp, I started as a salesperson, handling existing accounts and bringing in new ones. I was dedicated to my work and my customers, gradually increasing my income and establishing key accounts. One significant account, Victory Automotive Group, took nearly nine years to secure. They asked for an e-commerce site for 50 stores, a first for Formscorp, and I made it happen!In 2015, I discovered Dave Ramsey's financial advice, which helped me overcome financial struggles and become debt-free in about three years. This transformation caught Russ Troyan's attention, and in 2018, he asked me to consider buying the company as he planned his retirement. My financial struggles taught me resilience and money management, enabling me to cut costs and improve efficiency within the company. I focused on maximizing efficiency, speeding up processes, and supporting my team to work better and faster, while also focusing on leadership development.Realizing that drinking was holding me back, I decided to quit alcohol to improve my focus and health, allowing me to better serve my company and team. This led to the creation of Formscorp Cares, a program to support causes important to me and my team.My journey through hardships has made me a strong leader, dedicated to making a difference in people’s lives. I aim to inspire others to change their lives and pursue business ownership. Because I know, it is possible!
