For over 29 years, I have been a Senior Graphic Designer at The Townsend Group, a leading political consulting firm based in New York City. I develop branding collateral and multi-media campaigns for print and social media for candidates for various levels of political offices, from local to national. I have produced promotional materials for several successful campaigns, including Kou Lee for U.S. Senate from Wisconsin in 2020 and Nan Hayworth for U.S. Congress from New York in 2010, 2012, and 2014.In addition to my political work, I have been a Graphic Designer/Artist at my own website, RebeccaDarlington.work, for over 31 years. I prepare and deliver branding materials, advertisements, and marketing campaigns for national and local businesses in various industries, such as food, real estate, and software. I have doubled Mystic Grill's social media followers by creating compelling content, arranged dealer ads and promotions for X-Rite Color Management and Solutions Software, and designed collateral for Print for Bee Fresh Health Food Restaurant, among other projects. My core competencies include typography, composition, and color, with keen conceptual development and effective written and verbal communication skills. I have an ability to keep an eye on the big picture through strategic thinking and combining business goals with creative solutions. I have polished client presentation skills demonstrating a clear vision of how the work addresses stakeholder challenges.
