Manage the workings of a capital investment firm in managing properties and other various companies in which the company has a stake. Waterfall Capital Investments directs the deployment of capital from a small group of family offices. Real Estate, Hospitality, Health Care and Private Lending are the predominate focus.

Collaborate with senior management peers including the CEO, CFO and Vice President of Operations to improve the company both operationally and financially by implementing more stringent oversight and streamlining operations. Instituted a credit card payment system allowing residents to easily pay bills resulting in greater cash flow. Team with the VP of Operations to identify and correct weaknesses within the organization. Engaged with all banking relationships of the company. Responsible for the Payroll and Benefits Departments. Work with insurance brokers to provide benefits to personnel that make the company competitive with other companies in the market. Preside over corporate board as well as the Corporate Compliance meetings.

Collaborated with Prime Brokerage, Prime Custody, Custody and Fund Services, Global Clearing and Agent Lending sales teams to provide liquidity management solutions to our institutional clients and prospects. Designed and documented existing lines of business with the goal of streamlining and enhancing an undervalued product. Owned end to end responsibility for planning, managing and delivering projects, including business specifications, functional specifications, technology builds, testing, training and communication, organizational readiness, client-migration planning and execution.

I conducted a thorough and comprehensive review of certain client-facing applications for a large banking corporation. This involved the review all interfaces and handshakes between the various systems contributing to the population of data in these applications. I created workflows to illustrate how the work is created, how the systems interface, and to identify the controls within the process. In addition to documenting the work progression, these workflows will be used as a reference tool and training guide for employees. I provided recommendations for operational and procedural improvements including the addition of controls and improving operational and technology efficiencies. I prepare training sessions for bank employees in which any changes made to existing procedures were explained.

Oversaw and managed the operations and customer service areas in all regions served by the bank. Built a highly-engaged, client-focused team that supported both the bank's clients and its sales force. Responsible for the administration, oversight, and change management of a total core banking system implementation within the firm's operational and client servicing areas while continuing to run the bank at a high level. As part of the project, designed new operational workflows within most of the bank. Engaged closely with bankers in all branches to service their clients with the goal of providing white-glove treatment to the firm's clients while simultaneously removing much of the administrative burden from the bank officers. Worked collaboratively with business executives to improve department performance and develop new products to enhance the bank's suite of services.

Participated in due diligence analysis related to acquisitions by the company. Analyzed the company through a review of accounting records, inspection of operational procedures, and by conducting interviews with management of the acquired company. Prepared and evaluated pro-forma financial information and budgets and identified post-acquisition action steps to determine anticipated earnings/cash flow improvements. Due diligence findings were compared and correlated with client valuations of the purchased company. Additionally, I prepared executive summaries of business partner/vendor agreements for the use of senior management. Analyzed the tax impact of the Affordable Care Act on the company's business and worked with others to educate key personnel within the organization of the impact of the law.

I advised and assisted on the conversion and implementation of a new clearance system within the heritage-Bear Stearns government/mortgage systems with a focus on the purchase and sales functionality. This includes reviewing and improving various processes including trade confirmations, GSCC comparisons, reconciliation of trade and settlement differences, and the creation of management reports. Using my past experience and knowledge, I provided insight and recommending solutions to operational processes that were not successfully converted initially and to streamline workflows.

I essentially performed the same functions as I did for Custodial Trust Company. I interfaced directly with JPMorgan personnel to ensure a smooth and seamless transition of the bank's operations in Princeton to JPMorgan Dallas. This involved establishing a comprehensive training program and developing timetables for transferring all bank responsibilities to JP Morgan's Dallas office.

I led the bank, which was a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Bear Stearns Companies, Inc., from a start-up venture to a vibrant entity with a capital base of more than $200 million and more than $130 billion in assets under custody which included both domestic and international securities. I directed all bank operations and presided over the securities settlements, securities lending, and commercial loan operations functions. I presided over the processing and monitoring of the bank's commercial loan portfolio and collaborated with Bear Stearns to integrate bank's commercial loan portfolio into the firm's global risk management system. I established policies, operational procedures, and risk controls in collaboration with Legal, Audit, and Compliance Departments. I teamed with sales personnel to create solutions for clients, presented solutions to potential and current clients, and produced marketing material for bank, often working closely with senior management at both our firm and the customer's organization. I developed and headed the bank's client service area, which communicated daily with firm's clients. I was integral in producing customized solutions for clients' special operational needs by consulting directly with clients, bank's IT professionals, and Bear Stearns' colleagues to construct individual optimal solutions. I managed four direct reports and forty people overall in multiple locations. I reported directly to the President/CEO and worked closely with senior management of Bear Stearns in driving key decisions to shape direction of the bank’s business. I served as contributing member of bank's Trust and Credit Committees and was an active participant in the bank's Board of Directors meetings. I have shown a proven ability to manage teams, influence colleagues, multi-task under difficult circumstances and collaborate with other business units including sales, legal, compliance, HR, operations, risk, IT and credit.

I worked in several operational areas of the firm, including Cashiers, Government Operations, Order Room and P&L Accounting. Transferred to build operations at Custodial Trust Company, a newly-formed Bank and wholly-owned subsidiary of the Bear Stearns Companies.
