As an interior design student at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), I am passionate about creating beautiful and functional spaces that improve the physical and emotional well-being of others. I have learned to use various software tools, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp, to design, model, and present projects. I am also interested in exploring the connections between interior design and mental health, and how to apply evidence-based design principles to enhance the quality of life for different populations.Before pursuing my interior design degree, I served the U.S. Navy as a hospital corpsman and a behavioral health technician for four years. I gained valuable skills and experience in providing medical and psychiatric care to diverse patients, both inpatient and outpatient. I also received multiple honors and certifications for my outstanding contributions and performance, such as the Letter of Commendation and the Basic Life Support Instructor. I am proud of my service and my commitment to helping others in need.
