English and literature are a passion of mine to be able to help others learn about the historic and applicable elements within classic and contemporary stories. Literature provides a way to allow students, or society, to understand more about life around them. Analytical and critical thinking, which is my job as a teacher, is to help students to learn how to ask questions, look at different perspectives of political, historical, socio-economic, psychological, gender, lifestyle, and many other aspects that all of life has to consider. Teaching 7th graders, and writing curriculum utilizing skills learned in my studies, helped on their level ,helped me to understand the nuances of how students learn, and what I can do to facilitate their learning. I have been working in the Technical/Software industry for over 15 years. Being able to solve complex problems quickly and efficiently has been at the forefront of this industry, one that has taught me many skills over the years. At the same time, interpersonal communication is at the heart of my work, which allowed me to train, educate and to offer solutions to customers to grow and improve their business.
