Spearheaded the addition of the Devils Illustrated podcasts to site content, which I co-hosted with publisher and editor, Brian McLawhorn. I also worked as a photographer, videographer, and writer, covering the ACC Football Championship Game in Charlotte, N.C., the Duke football program's Annual Spring Game, numerous games in Cameron Indoor Stadium, and the Duke men's basketball team's progress in the NCAA Tournament.

Awarded 2nd place in the "Interactive Multimedia" category by the Broadcast Education Association. Traveled to the sustainable farm just outside San José, Costa Rica, with a team of fellow iMedia students to gather content including videos, photos, and interviews, with which we created a website and social media marketing plan for our client upon our return to the United States. Including the week spent traveling, the site and its contents were completed in three weeks.

During my time at E&H, I served as the primary play-by-play commentator for men's and women's basketball, while also providing color commentary for both basketball and Wasps football as needed. I also hosted two sports talk radio shows, "Sportographic Material" and "Bragging Rights," while with WEHC.

Shot action video at a variety of high school and collegiate sporting events. Edited digital video and placed in timeline sequences for nightly newscasts. Wrote scripts to include video and story details, while edited to fit story's allotted time. Met and worked with sports directors and coaches around southwestern Virginia and northeast Tennessee.

Provided play-by-play commentary for all Marlins home games on the Coastal Plain League WebPass. Prepared pre- and post-game shows, interviews, and statistical background information for games. Maintained and updated team website, Constant Contact, Facebook, and Twitter. Organized player and coach interviews and appearances for local and national news outlets. Served as primary media liaison between Marlins organization and the Coastal Plain League. Wrote press releases following games, events, signings, etc. and sent them to local and visiting media and sponsors. By invitation, contributed play-by-play and color commentary as well as on-field interviews for the Coastal Plain League All-Star Game and Home Run Derby. Created, marketed, promoted, and designed logo and flyer for Marlins "Facebook Fan Day." Set up DOS (Disk Operating System) scoring program before and after each Marlins home game for official CPL scorekeeping. Public address (PA) announcer for National Junior College Athletics Association (NJCAA) Region X Tournament hosted by Marlins at Big Rock Stadium.

At 20 years old, was asked to host regional outdoor adventure reality show that was shot along parts of the Virginia Creeper Trail and at Backbone Rock. "Back To The Woods" was broadcast on the CW affiliate of the Tri-Cities market (Bristol/Johnson City/Kingsport) in August 2010.
