My main task was development of several Software Defined Radios (SDR) versions for GPS and other systems using different technologies (Matlab, Simulink, C and VHDL). We built an FPGA based prototype real-time GPS/Galileo receiver for an industrial partner. A Matlab version was developed for our book on Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) SDRs.In relation to this work I have several times developed different MS Windows drivers for USB devices - KMDF, WinUSB, capable to handle multiple parallel 4-20MB/s data streams. This also allowed me to create a unique GNSS tool which allows to record and playback GNSS signals from/to DUT in real-time. I gave courses for industry and academia on GNSS topics (including a whole course on GPS receiver technology for the GPS M.Sc. program).Through participation in European GNSS events, GNSS research, collaboration and education projects I have made good contacts with several US and European GNSS researches and industry partners.

I was doing testing and verification of products during their development phase. The product range includes industrial measurement equipment and telecommunication products that contained wired and wireless communication technologies (including Bluetooth, DECT, GSM, GPS and fixed line).At this job I learned a lot about mobile communication protocols and principles of operation.
