Born and raised in Monasteraden, Co. Sligo. I have attended 3rd level education in Galway, 4 years of this time culminated in a BSc in Applied Freshwater and Marine Biology. This was immediately followed by an MSc in Conservation Behaviour. Now attending the University of Galway and expecting to graduate with an MSc in Global Environmental Economics in September 2023.Throughout my study, I endeavored to get out and travel the world at every opportunity. A stint as a research intern with the South African Shark Conservancy complimented my undergrad and brought me back to Hermanus, SA once again for my Master's research.Part-time work throughout my college career has left me with an extensive sales skillset and a love of getting stuck into hands-on work. Two J1 summer visas spent in Cape May, NJ introduced me to the world of hospitality where I was lucky enough to spend some time as a duty manager in the beautiful Congress Hall Hotel. From this, I garnered a true appreciation for the value of leading from the front and operating as a team. Currently seeking summer internship opportunities to complement my current course of study, in particular in the New York and New Jersey areas.
