My role is to maintain the concrete mixing plant, make sure aggregate bins are always full during the day. Help customers with any queries they may have. Answer phones and take orders when necessary.

As an employee at Mount Juliet Estate, My main goal was guest satisfaction. to do this I asked guests if they needed any help during their stay, if they had any problems, I would make sure to resolve those problems immediately. My tasks were to prepare conference rooms on time and to a 5 star quality. Carry guests luggage in and out of the hotel. At busy times of the year, I could have multiple tasks to do in a short time which can be stressful. I made sure that guests are number 1 priority, then I would make sure all conferences are ready then all the other tasks after that. As a porter I learned how to work under severe pressure, Timekeeping skills, punctuality and customer service skills. Training provided included Fire drill training, Manual handelling and Customer service excellence.
