Competent Duty Manager and site H&S Representative helping lead a team where we increased membership’s and swim academy bookings by 20%, achieved over 90% in H&S audits and full compliance with HSA audits. While also having 4 additional years’ experience in the organization as a Lifeguard and Gym Instructor I can be seen as the colleague everyone wants to know but nobody wants to be. If you need something done, a problem solved or you're missing a knowledge piece in your role you come to me.My duties as Duty Manager and H&S Representative can be summarised as follows;Responsible and accountable for all matters on shift. Responsible for leading, directing and overseeing H&S for the center to ensure H&S standards set out by the HSA & governing bodies are maintained. Responsible for coaching and guidance of H&S queries and issues. Engage with contractors to carry out electrical, plumbing, pool and ppm work while leasing with company directors. Structure weekly roster for 42 staff covering 186 swim lessons and 45 gym classes. Use of initiative solve operational, staff and customer issues. Completing lodgment counts & drops. Solving customer complaints and issues. Conduct performance and disciplinary reviews. Delegation of tasks to meet goals. Adapt to unexpected developments in day-to-day tasks. Responsible for upkeep of all staff certificates and training. Luckily as a person I function very much so in processes and steps making me very organised and efficient. This allows me to manage a high workload while being able to adapt to issues and unexpected variables that may arise and provide feedback to staff to ensure a positive customer experience and satisfactionI get great satisfaction in addressing problems and issues and determining the best course of action for all parties involved. I’m a very analytical person which helps be analyse my performance and actions to make necessary improvements. These analytical traits give me an eye for improving efficiency in processes analysing data and effiecent data entry. When I'm not working I enjoy working out in the gym on a strict schedule. I also have a great passion for technology whether it be troubleshooting, modifying game files, creating spreadsheets to maximise efficiency, or learning shortcuts. Recently I have started learning website building with HTML, CSS and Java Script in my spare time which I find very intriguing.I also enjoy spendning time with my partner and close group of friends and family. In particular I love spending time with my niece and nephew to remind me what's important in life.
