As an experienced educator with over a decade of teaching in outstanding-rated British curriculum schools around the world, I am dedicated to empowering students with the skills they need to become lifelong learners and to foster a genuine enjoyment of learning. My teaching philosophy centers around creating a stimulating and supportive environment where students can thrive academically and personally.Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to lead and innovate in several key areas:- Head of Maths: I spearheaded the restructuring of our Maths program to enhance students' arithmetic and problem-solving skills. My approach focused on developing a robust curriculum that not only meets but exceeds educational standards.- Mentorship and Development: I have guided NQT (Newly Qualified Teachers) and ECT (Early Career Teachers) to excel in their roles, supporting their professional growth and helping them to become effective educators.- STEAM and IT Initiatives: As an Apple Teacher, I led working groups to drive progress in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and IT (Information Technology), integrating innovative practices and technology to enrich the learning experience.- Nord Anglia's Middle Leaders Program: Participation in Nord Anglia's MLP has equipped me with advanced leadership skills, enabling me to support and mentor middle leaders within my organisation effectively.My commitment is to inspire and equip students and colleagues alike, ensuring that education is not just about imparting knowledge but about nurturing curiosity, resilience, and a passion for lifelong learning.
