Darragh serves as Head of Funds at Marfire where he oversees fund governance for a portfolio of hedge fund and private equity vehicles with a diverse range of structures and investment strategies.Darragh is also responsible for implementing strategies to deliver an economic substance solution in accordance with appropriate local regulations while overseeing the risk reporting and portfolio management elements of economic substance solutions in the Cayman Islands.Darragh has extensive experience with regard to overseeing and guiding fund launches; reviewing fund constitutional documents, agreements and side letters and overseeing performance of key service providers. Ensuring regulatory compliance with global regulatory bodies and fund regulations including the US (SEC), Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (CIMA), UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and Securities & Futures Commission Hong Kong (SFC).Darragh has significant financial services experience, with a focus on fund compliance, regulation and structuring in leading governance firm based in Cayman. Prior to that, Darragh spent four years with PwC as Tax Senior, where he supported clients in the areas of domestic and international taxation, working on a number of consultancy projects with technical tax issues.Darragh holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Economics and Accounting) and a Master’s degree in Taxation.
