I am a third-year student at University College Cork, pursuing a BSc degree in Business Information Systems (BIS), a field that combines computer and information sciences and business studies. I have a keen interest and aptitude for information systems and their applications in various domains and contexts. In addition to my academic pursuits, I am also an active and engaged member of the UCC community, holding leadership and organisational roles in several societies and clubs. I am the Vice-Chairperson of BIS Society, and the Captain of Cork Snowsports, where I manage budgets, plan events, and collaborate with various stakeholders most notably the CorkSnowsports annual ski trip ⛷️ and BIS Ball. Through these experiences, I have developed and demonstrated core competencies such as attention to detail, statistical analysis, and problem solving, as well as interpersonal and communication skills. I have also received the Student of the Year award in 2019 for my academic excellence and community engagement. My goal is to apply my knowledge, skills, and passion for information systems to make a positive impact on society and reach my full potential. Always open to new ideas and opportunities.
